    WACKER introduces new solutions for high-performance films

    WACKER offers a range of DEHESIVE products
    specifically for PET film coating.
    DEHESIVE® systems for PET film coating are available in emulsion-based, solvent-free and solvent-based systems
    .
    The polymer emulsion DEHESIVE?490 has extremely fast curing properties and excellent release stability
    .
    It can be used to coat silicone-free PET films in the multi-roll coating process; The solvent-free product DEHESIVE929 has excellent adhesion to PET films and excellent bath life
    .
    At the same time, when used with key adhesives, it also has the characteristics of low release force at low speed peeling; DEHESIVE?955 is a solventborne addition-curing silicone release agent with medium release force at low peel speeds, excellent release stability, excellent bath life and excellent adhesion to PET
    films.

    In addition, WACKER has developed high-performance LUMISIL® silicones, which is a major step forward
    in efficiency in large-scale LED production.
    LED manufacturers only need to add a drop of silicone directly to the chip to make optical lenses, eliminating the need for complex injection molding processes
    .

    WACKER's new LUMISIL® 410 UV series for optical applications will enable the first time to manufacture the required optical lenses
    directly on LED chips in a single process without complicated die-casting and forming processes.
    The forming and packaging of LED optics takes place simultaneously and with high efficiency, making it a major breakthrough
