After nearly a year of hard work, the technicians of Wuhai Black Cat Carbon Black Company have successfully developed distillation negative pressure technology, turning the by-product asphalt in the coal tar industry chain into carbon black oil that can produce high-end carbon black products, which can increase profits by tens of millions of yuan
per year.
The company plans to put this technology into trial production and application in September, and fully achieve production and meet the standard
in October.

Wang Hongwei, director of the company's refining workshop, calculated an account: the company produces more than 400 tons of by-product asphalt every day in the production of coal tar, and consumes up to 300 tons for self-consumption, and more than 100 tons can only be sold at low prices

The application of this technology can convert all of these more than 100 tons of asphalt into the carbon black oil required by the enterprise, and the profit
can be increased by 20,000~50,000 yuan in 1 day compared with before.

The company has built an annual output of 160,000 tons of wet carbon black project, supporting 30MW carbon black tail gas waste heat power generation device, 300,000 tons of coal tar deep processing project, is an important enterprise
in Wuhai to build a modern coal chemical production demonstration base.
The by-product bitumen accounts for 55% of the use of coal tar to produce carbon black, and in recent years, the asphalt market has been sluggish, and the market price of carbon black oil required to produce carbon black has been rising
