Huntsman Group announces the acquisition of Gabriel Functional Products

On December 8, Huntsman announced that it would acquire Gabriel Feature Products, a unit of Audax Private Equity
.
Under the terms of the agreement, Huntsman will pay $250 million for the acquisition, subject to final adjustments
based on changes in working capital and other factors.
The transaction was an all-cash transaction funded by the Company's available liquid assets
.
The purchase price is approximately 11 times the 2019 adjusted EBITDA or approximately 8 times
the projected adjusted EBITDA after consideration of synergies.
The transaction is expected to close
in the first quarter of 2021.
