On June 15, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) officially released the 13th batch of substances of very high concern (SVHCs).
This time, two toxic and hazardous substances have been included in the list of SVHCs and may be included in
the list of authorized substances in Annex XIV in the future.
Up to now, the total number of toxic and hazardous substances in the SVHCs list has reached 163, of which 31 substances have been added to the
authorized list.
Among them, due to its reproductive toxicity, a mixture of bis(C6-C10) alkyl phthalate and 1,2-phthalic acid (phthalate content not less than 0.
3%), and 2-(2,4-dimethyl-3-cyclohexen-1-yl)-5-methyl-5-(1-methylpropyl)-1,3 dioxane, 2-(2,6- Dimethyl-3-cyclohexene-1-yl)-5-methyl-5-(1-methylpropyl)-1,3 dioxane and any mixture of these two substances were added to the list
.
According to the regulations, enterprises that meet the above requirements need to complete the notification
of relevant substances in the articles within 6 months from the date of the release of the 13th batch of SVHCs.
