PPG introduces the UltraPaxTM integrated coating system

PPG Industries' Industrial Coatings Division has launched the UltraPaxTM coating system
.
This all-in-one coating system combines pretreatment products with powder coatings and fully complies with stringent metal surface protection standards for industries such as automotive parts and accessories, electrical appliances, construction products, heavy machinery and transportation
.

In this system, the pretreatment products are used
in combination with PPG's Envirocron powder coatings.
Envirocron coatings are formulated with polyester, polyurethane, epoxy and synthetic resin systems to provide ideal hardness and abrasion resistance, and are available in more than 300,000 digital colors
.
At the same time, because the production process of Envirocron powder coatings is solvent-free and does not produce volatile organic compounds (VOCs), it also helps manufacturers meet the requirements of
environmental laws and regulations.
In addition, each UltraPaxTM coating system is tested
for salt spray resistance, impact resistance, flexibility (tapered mandrel bending) and viscosity on cold and hot rolled steel plates in accordance with AATA standards.
