WACKER Norway started operations
at WACKER's new silicon metal plant in Hola, Norway, today and officially opened its new silicon metal production plant in Hola
, Norway.
The new production plant is built according to the latest technical standards, with high productivity and low maintenance requirements, with a total investment of around 100 million euros
.
The new capacity will increase the total annual production capacity of WACKERHOLA by more than
40 percent.
The silicon metal production capacity at the Hola site thus covers approximately one-third
of WACKER's total silicon demand at its German sites.
