Formulation development with the help of artificial intelligence Recently, LANXESS announced that its Polyurethane Systems business unit has entered into a project partnership with Citrine Informatics (CI), a material artificial intelligence company, to launch a prepolymer product expansion project
.
The project uses artificial intelligence to shorten lead times and provide customers with a polyurethane system tailored to meet the different needs
of new application areas.
In the initial phase of the project, LANXESS will expand its prepolymer-based formulation database and add more data points to the formulation database
by using a CI artificial intelligence platform.
