BASF recently
unveiled a new strategy with the primary objective of increasing sales and volumes; Increase EBITDA before special items by 3~5 percentage points per year; By 2025, sales of products that contribute significantly to sustainability will reach 22 billion euros
.
BASF will increase its focus on customers and provide them with customized services and solutions; As of January 1, 2019, BASF will have six business areas, each with two business units
(except Agricultural Solutions).
In addition, BASF is launching a new excellence project, to be implemented from 2019 to 2021, with the goal of contributing €2 billion in annual revenue every year from the end of 2021.
The project will include measures
in the areas of production, logistics, research and development, digitalization, automation and organizational development.
