Products and Algerian Sonatrach have recently signed two production and delivery agreements

The two agreements will be implemented through their Helios joint venture, which together are worth $100 million

Under the first agreement, Sonatrach will recover helium from two existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities (GL1Z and GL3Z) and deliver the gas to Helios' facility in Arzew, thereby increasing liquid helium capacity
。 Under the second agreement, Air Products will design and build two new air separation units in Algeria, owned and operated by Helios; The plant will produce nitrogen, oxygen and argon, which will be supplied to the Algerian market and the rest of the Maghreb (Libya, Tunisia, Morocco and Mauritania)
through Sonatrach's subsidiary Cogiz.
