PPG and SiNode system partner to promote battery anode materialsPPG
announced on November 16 that it is accelerating the promotion of high-energy anode materials
for advanced batteries for electric vehicles with SiNode system in the United States.
Compared with traditional lithium-ion battery materials, its energy storage performance is better, which extends the vehicle range and reduces the weight
of the battery.
The project will aim to improve the stability and scalability of SiNode anode materials, so as to meet or exceed the relevant requirements
of the American Advanced Battery Federation for battery active energy storage materials.
PPG will not only provide SiNode with anode raw materials, but will also support
the project by helping SiNode ramp up its production process and achieve mass production.
