Shell will terminate crude oil refining at its German plant

Shell said it plans to switch its Shell Rhineland refinery in Wetherling, Germany, from crude to low- or zero-carbon products
from 2025.

According to its transformation plan, the complex will become the Shell Rhineland Energy and Chemical Park, with a focus on renewable derived hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel and renewable LNG
.
