Lucaite International will close its Beaumont plant

Recently, Mitsubishi Chemical said that its subsidiary Lucite International will stop its production of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and methacrylic acid (MAA) in Beaumont, Texas, and close the plant
.
The company plans to stop production
on February 28, 2021.
The site's MMA production capacity is 135,000 tons/year
