BASF expands global plastic additives production network capacity
Recently, BASF said that it plans to invest more than 200 million euros over the next five years for capacity expansion and operational excellence in the global plastic additives business, nearly half of which will be used in Asia
.

The investment plans to expand BASF's plastic additives production capacity at its North American and European sites, as well as to build
automation, electronics and digital modeling.
In addition, the company plans to expand its plastic additive production network
in Asia.

Christian Fischer, President of BASF's Performance Chemicals division, said: "To meet the growing global demand for antioxidants and light stabilizers, BASF will strengthen its plastic additives business
by investing in additional production capacity.
