    Dawan gas field development technology passed the appraisal

    Recently, Sinopec held an appraisal meeting
    for key technology projects for the efficient development of horizontal wells in the Dawan high-sulfur gas field.
    It is believed that the project is highly innovative, and the technical series developed for the horizontal wells of the relatively thin reservoir of the reef and beach has good field application effect, and the overall project has reached the international leading level, which has broad promotion prospects

    Through independent innovation, the project has formed five key technologies for horizontal well development in high-sulfur gas fields, including multiple filter difference identification of reef and beach facies double media reservoir microfracture method, high sulfur dual medium gas-liquid and gas-liquid sulfur integrated seepage model, filling the domestic gap

    of technologies with independent intellectual property rights through the study of the geological structure, innovation and breakthrough development technology of the Dawan gas field.

    Applying these technical achievements, the development plan of Dawan gas field has been further optimized: the number of drilling wells has been reduced from 25 to 13, and the output of a single well has increased from 360,000 cubic meters to 700,000 cubic meters.
