The Group signed the definitive agreement

The company will acquire SO.
F.
TER.
The Group's engineering thermoplastics (ETPs), thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) and all customer contractual agreements, production facilities, technical and commercial facilities
.
The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2016, subject to routine termination conditions and the status of approval by the competent authorities

as an independent business.
The acquisition will nearly double the number of Celanese's global engineered materials product platforms, further enhancing Celanese's world-class leadership, solution capabilities and project opportunities
