WACKER has presented several silicone rubber series, including the SILPURAN® 8630 platinum-catalytic silicone rubber with a low coefficient of friction in a cleanroom class 8 and the highly tear-resistant platinum-catalytic silicone rubber ELASTOSIL® R plus 4305
for extrusion processes.

SILPURAN?8630 is an additive molding two-component, high-temperature vulcanized solid silicone rubber packaged
in accordance with the cleanroom class 8 standard (DIN EN ISO 14644).
Its biocompatibility meets the requirements of ISO 10993-1 and USP Class VI standards and has been tested, making it suitable for medical applications
including short-term implantation.
Due to its excellent mechanical properties and low coefficient of friction, SILPURAN?8630 can be widely used in the manufacture of molded and extruded medical products such as valves, catheters and other tubing products

ELASTOSIL R plus 4305 is a platinum-catalyzed, addition-cured two-component silicone rubber

It complies with BfR (German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) and FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) standards and is recommended for the manufacture of food contact and skin contact tubing products

The cured silicone rubber products have excellent transparency and excellent mechanical properties, as well as high tear strength
