Rosneft cooperates with oil majors to develop low-carbon technologies

Roseneft has announced that it will work with Equinor and ExxonMobil to develop low-carbon solutions in joint projects and use alternative energy sources
in new projects.

Rosneft said the two sides will conduct greenhouse gas emission reduction assessments for joint projects and strive to achieve zero air combustion
of associated gas by 2030.
Equinor also said that in support of the goals of the Paris Agreement, the two sides will work together to develop low-carbon solutions and reduce the carbon footprint
of joint projects.

In addition, the two companies will consider the application of wind energy, carbon dioxide capture and storage technologies, and the production of blue-green hydrogen to implement new low-carbon projects
