Arkema expands production of
powder coating resins in India On October 10, Arkema announced plans to build a new top-of-the-line polyester powder resin production facility at its resin production site in Neummumbai, Maharashtra, India, the first of its kind
in India.
With a total investment of approximately $15 million, the project includes a new production unit and a dedicated laboratory that can provide both application development and technical support, and is expected to be completed
in 2018.
The new production facility will be used to produce REAFREE?cream brand polyester powder resins and will support powder coating customers in response to the rapid development
of the market.

"Polyester powder resins for powder coatings are an important part of our growing portfolio and Arkema is committed to providing more environmentally friendly, low-volatile organic compounds (VOCs) product solutions," said Mr.
Ren Richard, Global President of Arkema's Coatings Resins business unit
