Covestro signs a TDI order with Shengnuo

Recently, COVESTRO announced that it has signed its first ISCC Plus mass balance certified polyurethane raw material TDI commercial order with Shengnuo Group, a manufacturer and marketer of polyurethane upholstery home products, aiming to help downstream industries reduce their carbon footprint
by providing more sustainable raw materials.

It is reported that Covestro's Shanghai Verbund site has previously obtained ISCC Plus mass balance certification, which enables it to supply mass balance certified products such as TDI, polycarbonate and MDI in large quantities to customers in the Asia-Pacific region with a share of some alternative raw materials
