New technology enables thermal power units to achieve "near-zero emissions"
and "PM2.
5 agglomeration and dust removal ultra-low emission technology" has recently achieved complete success
in the transformation of dust removal and emission reduction technology of 340,000 kW thermal power generation units of Guodian Fengcheng Power Plant.
In December last year, after strict testing by Jiangxi Environmental Monitoring Center, the average smoke emission concentration of the unit was only 1.
7 mg/cubic meter, and the dust removal efficiency reached 88.
79%.
"PM2.
5 agglomeration and dust removal ultra-low emission technology" is a new technology
developed by Professor Zhang Junying's team at the State Key Laboratory of Coal Combustion, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, after ten years.
This technology is to add a agglomeration device in front of the traditional dust collector, which can make the fine particles agglomerate into chains and flocs, attach to the large particles, and then the traditional dust collector captures the agglomerated large particles, which can greatly improve the removal efficiency
of fine particles.
This research has been supported by the 863 Program and 973 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and has a number of independent intellectual property rights
.
According to environmental protection experts, the technology subverts the previous physical dust removal mode and uses chemical agglomeration to promote the agglomeration of fine particulate matter (PM2.
5), which is a major scientific research achievement in effectively controlling PM2.
5 emissions from fossil fuels in China, and has reached the international advanced level
.
