According to Qiu Dewen, a researcher at the Institute of Plant Protection, scientists for the first time based on plant immunity theory, with the screening goal of activating plant immunity and improving resistance, isolated two new proteins PeaT1 and Hrip1 that stimulate plant immunity from the fungus "Lattaria particus", and identified their target proteins
on tobacco cell membranes.
This study established the efficient fermentation and extraction process and preparation processing technology of Alternaria microliflora activated protein, and realized the large-scale production
of two activated protein products.

The two activated protein biopesticides developed by this achievement have high control effects on a variety of plant diseases, and at the same time can greatly reduce the input of pesticides and fertilizers, reduce production costs, improve the quality of agricultural products, and achieve significant economic, ecological and social benefits, and have broad
application prospects.
