BASF invests in waste tyre pyrolysis oil company

BASF Europe will invest €16 million in Pyrum Innovations AG to support the expansion of its waste tyre pyrolysis plant in Dillingen, Germany, and to further promote the technology

As part of ChemCyclingTM, BASF will use most of Pyrum's pyrolysis oil and process it into completely new chemical products
based on the principle of mass balance.
