LANXESS has added two new production lines
for customized Tepex
composites, Bond-Laminates, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LANXESS, recently added two new lines for Tepex continuously reinforced fiber thermoplastic composites, increasing Tepex's production capacity by approximately 50 percent to meet the needs of mass production of
high-stress components in lightweight vehicles and consumer electronics 。 For this purpose, Bond-Laminates has built a new hall covering an area of about 1,500 square meters to accommodate the new production line, which also includes three cutting machines, a new four-head waterjet cutter for the cutting of prefabricated components, with a total investment of five million euros
