Shell plans to build a chemical recycling plant for waste plastics
Recently, Shell announced that it will build two waste plastic chemical recycling plants in the Netherlands by 2023 to produce pyrolysis oil feedstock
for its steam crackers in Moerdijk, the Netherlands, and Rheinland, Germany.
It is estimated that the two waste plastic chemical recycling plants can convert more than 30,000 tons/year of waste plastic into pyrolysis raw materials

It is reported that the two plants will be jointly built by Shell's strategic investment subsidiary, Shell Venture Capital, and plastic waste recycling specialist BlueAlp, and the two sides will also establish a joint venture
