Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has announced that it has completed the commissioning of a specialist coking unit
for its carbon black and coking project, a key part of its downstream expansion plans.
The project uses "delayed coking" technology to produce 40,600 tons of two different grades of carbon black and 430,000 tons of high value-added coke
per year.
