INVISTA introduces new Lycra R fiber
One of the world's leading integrated polymer and fiber producers and LYCRA? Invista, the owner of the LYCRA brand, today announced the global launch of a commercial spandex product
based on bio-derived raw materials that can be used in a variety of fabrics and apparel.
This new Lycra? Nearly 70% of its weight comes from renewable raw materials made from glucose from cereals, so its CO2 emissions are much lower than those made from traditional raw materials
.
With this lycra? With the introduction of Cord Fiber, INVISTA provides stretch fabric retailers and manufacturers with a spandex product choice
that impacts the overall life cycle analysis of fabrics and apparel.

This new Lycra? FABRIC DEVELOPMENT
WILL BE CARRIED OUT BY SELECTED MEMBERS OF THE INVISTA ASIA LYCRA EXCHANGETM PROGRAM.
The project aims to further strengthen INVISTA's partnership
with these like-minded Asian fabric producers seeking greater market value.

in fabrics.
We are planning to use it in commercial production
