Clariant acquires Personal Care Brazil

All shares in a professional company

Recently, Clariant acquired the remaining 70% stake
in Brazilian personal care company Beraca from the founder Sabará family.
Clariant has held a 30% stake
in the company since 2015.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close
in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The acquisition of the remaining 70% stake in Beraca is an important part of
Clariant's strategy to further strengthen individual core business areas through targeted acquisitions.
Beraca's business will be integrated into the Care Chemicals business area
