SABIC expands production capacity for specialty resins in Asia

SABIC announced plans to increase NORYLTM SA9000 specialty resin production capacity to better support the rapidly growing demand
for high-performance printed circuit boards (PCBs) for 5G base stations and high-speed servers.
The expansion will build on the 2019 increase and is expected to double
production capacity in Asia when the project is completed.
At present, the expansion plan has progressed in India as scheduled, and it is expected to be completed
by the end of 2020.

By then, the total production capacity of NORYLTM SA9000 resin in Asia will increase tenfold
compared to 2018.
This expansion will help high-performance copper clad laminate (CCL) producers reduce turnaround times worldwide, providing them with greater flexibility in meeting customer needs for reduced turnaround times, while also laying the foundation for
future product development.
