Myanmar's first agrochemical plant was put into operation Recently, Myanmar's first agrochemical plant was put into operation

in Hmawby, a northern suburb of Yangon, Myanmar.
Jointly established by Myanmar's AWBA Group Corporation and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) at a cost of $35 million, the 87.
4-hectare facility will utilize advanced technology to produce more than 200 high-quality agrochemicals, including herbicides, fungicides, and plant hormones

At the same time, to promote rapid agricultural development, the local government of Yangon, Myanmar, plans to implement 22 agricultural development projects
under a public-private partnership.
