Professor Wang Jun's research group of Nanjing University of Technology has recently made important progress in the reaction of zeolite molecular sieve catalyzed hydroxylation of aromatic hydrocarbons to prepare phenolic compounds, and successfully realized the instantaneous reaction
of direct hydroxylation of a variety of aromatic hydrocarbons to prepare phenolic compounds.
The research group prepared an all-silica zeolite zeolite molecular sieve catalyst by acid hydrolyzed silicon source dry glue method, which realized the instantaneous reaction of direct hydroxylation of more than 10 aromatic hydrocarbons including benzene to prepare phenolic compounds, and the reaction time was less than 30s, far lower than the reaction time required in the past ten to tens of hours, and at the same time had a super high TOF (conversion frequency) value
.
The new molecular sieve has good substrate applicability and stable catalyst recycling performance, showing good potential industrial application prospects
