On August 20, BASF announced that it has completed the acquisition
of Bayer's global vegetable seed business, which operates under the Nunhems® brand.
The vegetable seed business acquired this time involves 24 crops, about 2,600 crop varieties, and a research and development and breeding system with more than 100 breeding projects
for more than 15 crops.
The addition of the vegetable seeds business will strengthen BASF's seed platform and further complement
BASF's agricultural solutions portfolio.
