Owens Corning announced on August 24 that the company plans to invest $110 million to expand composite production capacity

in India.
The investment will support the growing demand in the Indian fiberglass market by installing an 80,000-tonne glass melting furnace at the Indian plant, which will be officially launched
in early 2018.

Owens Corning said the expansion was due to the double-digit growth of India's fiberglass market over the past decade and the high utilization of
capacity over the past three years.
