After Shell began restarting Europe's largest refinery on July 30, after shutting down most of the production facilities at Europe's largest refinery
, Pernis, Royal Dutch Shell said it had begun restarting many of its production plants
in the Netherlands, which has the capacity to process 404,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
Shell said in an emailed statement that "a complete reboot will be carried out in an organised and controlled manner"
.
But Shell did not elaborate on which units were returning to operation
.
Previously, Shell had said it did not expect the Pernis refinery to restart operations
until at least the second half of August.
