Linde builds a new liquid hydrogen plant in the United States
Recently, Linde announced that it has established a fifth liquid hydrogen plant in Laporte, Texas, USA, which can supply more than 30 tons of high-purity liquid hydrogen per day, strengthening Linde's supply network
.
The new plant has more than 15 separate hydrogen production sources that extract hydrogen from Linde's approximately 600-kilometer pipeline on the U.
S.
Gulf Coast, purify it, liquefy it and supply it to end markets, including materials handling, mobile, aerospace, metals, energy and electronics
.
Linde's other four U.
S.
plants are located in California, Alabama, Indiana and New York
.
Jeff Barnhard, Regional Vice President of Linde South, said that the start of the new hydrogen plant on time and on budget will not only improve the reliability of Linde's existing network, but also improve the efficiency of the supply chain and improve Linde's ability to
meet the growing demand for conventional and clean hydrogen from existing and new customers.
