Asahi Kasei expands microfiber suede production capacity AsahiKASEI recently announced plans to expand its Lamous microfiber suede production capacity

at its Nobeoka plant in Miyazaki Prefecture.
Asahi Kasei plans to increase its production capacity by 4 million square meters per year, which will start production
in the second half of 2021.

The company said that the demand for fiber materials for automotive interiors is gradually increasing, so it made an investment decision
.
Currently, Asahi Kasei has a production capacity
of 6 million square meters per year of microfiber suede.
After the new production line is put into operation, its production capacity will be expanded to 10 million square meters per year
