Henkel recently opened a new composites test center
in Japan, located in Isoko-ku, Yokohama, to facilitate close cooperation between automotive customers in Asia and Henkel's technical experts
.
With state-of-the-art equipment in the lab, collaborative teams can develop, test, and determine optimal process operating conditions to drive rapid concept-to-product translation
.

In the future, automotive customers and Henkel technical experts will be able to work together in this laboratory to develop and test a wide range of composite components and optimize series production processes
.
In addition, the collaborative team can conduct various tests
using different test molds on Henkel's own HP-RTM (High Pressure Resin Transfer Molding) equipment.
The HP-RTM plant consists of a 380-ton press that can be used for tests
simulating batch production conditions.
