WACKER expands its technical center in Brazil

Wacker recently inaugurated its expanded technical center in Brazil
, including its training center.

In recent years, the South American region has experienced strong economic growth, and the demand for high-end construction chemicals and coatings has grown particularly rapidly

Against this backdrop, WACKER is investing more to expand its technical center
in Brazil.
The expansion is focused on the dispersible polymer powder laboratory
.
Dispersible polymer powders are mainly used in the production of construction products
such as dry-mix mortars for concrete, tile adhesives or sealing mortars.
As part of the expansion plan, the polymer binder testing laboratory has also been more than
tripled.
In addition, the new laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation
that meets international standards.
WACKER's education and training center has also been expanded to include new hands-on classrooms
.
The new technical center now combines research and development, application technology and basic and advanced training for silicone and polymer applications
