Two projects on coal-based polypropylene catalysis passed the review
The Yinchuan Science and Technology Innovation and Industry Incubation Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences - research on coal-based clean polypropylene catalytic technology and the application of domestic main catalysts in coal-based homopolymer polypropylene Novolen process have recently passed the review
organized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Ningxia Science and Technology Department in Xi'an.
The investigation and design of the implementation plans of the two projects were completed
by the R&D center of Shenning Group Coal Chemical Industry Branch.
The research project on coal-based clean polypropylene catalytic technology carried out practical research on the new non-phthalate diester polypropylene catalyst for the key technologies and processes of coal-based clean polypropylene production of Shenning Group.
The application project of domestic main catalyst in coal-based homopolymer polypropylene Novolen process is aimed at the key technology and process of Shenning Group's annual output of 500,000 tons of coal-based polypropylene, and the practical research
of homopolymer polypropylene domestic main catalyst to replace imported catalysts is carried out.
These two projects are based on the joint laboratory of Shenning Group and the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, closely linked with the laboratory research results and large-scale production, and carry out research on the relationship between catalyst synthesis, propylene polymerization principle, process parameters and polymer properties, laying a theoretical foundation and providing technical support
for reducing the production cost of polypropylene products and developing clean and green polypropylene products.
