Perstorp, a methanol recycling project, has decided to study the potential for
methanol
recovery using carbon dioxide and residues at its plant in Stenungsund, Sweden.
The project not only reduces CO2 emissions from the production process, but also aims to produce recycled methanol as an alternative to petrochemical methanol as a feedstock
for Perstorp's production.
