INEOS Oxide
announced that it has selected Chocolate Bayou in Texas, Texas, as the production site
for its new 520,000-ton ethylene oxide (EO) and derivatives manufacturing complex.
The project is expected to be completed
in 2023.

The company said it chose Chocolate Bayou to enhance on-site integration with steam crackers and derivative assets; The additional land close to the area is easy to use, allowing interested third parties to invest downstream of
EO.
