Ineos recently announced that it will invest 2.
7 billion euros to build a new ethane cracker and a propane dehydrogenation plant
in northern Europe.
This will be the first new cracker built in northern Europe in more than 20 years and the largest investment in
INEOS' history.

Jim Ratcliffe, Chairman of INEOS, said: "This is the largest investment
in the European chemical industry in a generation.
This will be a game-changer for the industry and demonstrate our commitment to
manufacturing.
”
