Recently, INVISTA Advanced Technologies (INVISTA) has launched its latest P8 purified terephthalic acid technology
.
This technology significantly reduces variable costs
through gentler reaction conditions, improved energy integration and recovery.
This new technology enables a net output of electricity while reducing energy and water consumption, generating less waste and therefore reducing
environmental impact.

INVISTA has been involved in the commissioning of 19 world-scale purified terephthalic acid plants since 2000, with five more in various stages of design and construction
