: N1B41In line with the global strategy of "Creating New Chemistry", BASF will present advanced plastics solutions at Chinaplas 2012
to help China and the entire Asia-Pacific region meet the challenges of
sustainable growth.

At the exhibition,
BASF will present its advanced plastic solutions for resources, environment and climate, food, agriculture and nutrition, as well as for improving quality of life, including products and technologies for energy efficiency and resource conservation, as well as alternative raw materials.
Mulch film plastics for compostable agricultural film production, polyurethane solutions to reduce food loss and spoilage, and Ultramid polyamides in accordance with EU food contact standards; Solutions
for sound insulation, household and kitchen appliances and leisure products.

Highlights Highlights
of BASF's participation in the exhibition will include: polyamides for photovoltaic connectors and junction boxes in the photovoltaic sector; The roof-integrated photovoltaic solution jointly developed by the company and SCHOTT Solar; Basut melamine foam used as insulation material for solar collectors; COLO-FAST polyurethane casting system for fast and reliable production of high-quality photovoltaic module frames; and solutions for
more efficient wind power systems such as epoxy resin systems and bearing mechanical isolation blocks.
