POM technology by Grupa Azoty

Celanese recently announced that it has acquired certain technologies
related to the production of polyacetal (POM) products from Grupa Azoty SA in Tarno, Poland, following its decision to discontinue POM production.

Celanese will take over all existing Tarnoform contracts in order to serve
Azoty's customers.
However, except for certain equipment transfers related to the transfer of intellectual property rights, the transaction does not include any employees, tangible assets, manufacturing facilities or sales offices
of Azoty.
It is understood that the transaction is expected to close
in early July 2021.
