Qingdao refining and chemical scientific and technological achievements have passed the national appraisal

Recently, the scientific and technological achievements of "Process Control System Information Security Solution Based on the Concept of Defense in Depth" undertaken by Qingdao Refining and Chemical Industry have passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements organized by China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Application Association, and the overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level, which is of great significance
for improving the information security level of process control systems in China's process industry.

by Qingdao Refining and Chemical Company, SEI, and Siemens (China) Co.
, Ltd.
The appraisal committee invited industrial automation experts and academician Sun Youxian of the Chinese Academy of Engineering to serve as the director of the appraisal committee, and 13 industry experts from the National Computer Network and Information Security Management Center Laboratory, Sinopec, PetroChina, CNOOC, scientific research institutes, universities and colleges listened to the project report, reviewed all the appraisal data, inspected the application site, and formed a consensus appraisal opinion
after discussion.
The appraisal committee believes that the project solves the key problems of information security of industrial process control systems, establishes the implementation method system of process control system information security projects, and meets the needs of
information security construction of process control systems.
At the same time, the project has realized a number of scientific and technological innovations, and related core technologies have been successfully applied in Qingdao Refining, achieving significant economic and social benefits, which is of great significance
for improving the information security level of China's process industry process control system.
The appraisal committee believes that the overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level, unanimously agrees to pass the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements, and recommends accelerating the popularization and application
of the achievements.
