LANXESS presents new high-performance black pigments for concrete coloring

Recently, Lanxess has expanded its portfolio of black pigments for concrete coloring, launching two new products
: Bayferrox TP LXS 5253 powder and Bayferrox TP LXS 5255 granules.
These two products fill the gap between LANXESS's standard black pigments and the high-end pigments Bayferrox 360 and Bayferrox 365 GP and are expected to be favored
in long-lasting dark blue black pigments.

Bayferrox TP LXS 5253 combines all the concrete-related benefits of the Bayferrox series with higher tinting power and a deeper blue hue for a unique hue
    .
In addition, the product has a low water-soluble salt content and meets all the requirements of the European standard DIN EN 12878, making it an ideal pigment
    for reinforced concrete.

Bayferrox TP LXS 5255 is a free-flowing, dust-resistant iron oxide black granular product with good processability
    .
Compared to conventional iron oxide black particles, the product has a stronger tint and a more pronounced blue hue
    .

Wolfgang Oehlert, Head of LANXESS' Inorganic Pigments Business Unit Asia Pacific, said: "Urbanization is an important driving force for the development of
    the inorganic pigments industry.
At present, aestheticism is replacing pragmatism as the focus of
    modern urban planning.
There is a growing demand for colourful concrete that is easy to maintain and produced sustainably, and the new products will provide manufacturers with more options that will further enhance the attractiveness
    of concrete.
