Poland's state oil company

(PKN Orlen) announced that it plans to build a hydrogen center in Wwarcławec, Poland, by the end of 2021, which can produce 600 kilograms of pure hydrogen per hour, mainly in the transportation sector
.
The project includes the construction of a plant to produce fuel cell-grade hydrogen, logistics infrastructure and hydrogen refueling stations
.
The company said that as a potential customer for hydrogen fuel, it has signed several supply agreements
with the local government.
In addition, the company will build a similar center near the refinery in Plotsk and a hydrogen purification unit
at the biorefinery in Chebinia.
The project is scheduled for completion
in 2021.
