Increase production capacity for high-performance automotive adhesives

On May 17, DuPont Mobile & Materials announced that it will invest $5 million in capital and operating resources at its manufacturing facilities in Germany and Switzerland to increase its production capacity
for high-performance automotive adhesives.
This investment will expand production capacity to meet the growing demand
for advanced mobility solutions for vehicle electrification.

DuPont is investing in the production of Betaforce TC and Betatech thermal interface materials at the plant to help support battery thermal management
during hybrid/electric vehicle charging and operation.
Betaforce multi-material adhesives for body structure bonding and battery sealing and assembly; Betamate structural adhesives are used for body structure and battery bonding to improve crash durability and reduce the weight
of vehicle structures.
