Total expands German methanol production capacity Recently, Total said it will invest 150 million euros to expand the capacity of the Leuna refinery in Germany and increase methanol production capacity
by 20%.

Project retrofit work will continue until the end of 2021, with a significant portion of it taking place
during the refinery's overhaul in 2020.
The project will also reduce the refinery's heavy oil production
