Recently, Polyplastics has successfully developed a non-halogen flame-retardant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) material with good electrical properties - "DURANEX" NF series
.

At present, the anti-arc trail of flame retardant PBT containing bromine flame retardants is much lower than that of non-flame retardant PBT materials, and in the non-reinforced materials, the arc trace index of non-flame retardant PBT is about 600V, while the arc trace index of the standard flame retardant grade is 250V, which belongs to the lower limit of PLC (Performance Level Category = Performance Grade Category) level 2, which is difficult to meet the needs of future component design miniaturization.

The launch of the "DURANEX" NF series does not contain brominated flame retardants or antimony flame retardants, not only meets the requirements of the flame retardancy standard UL94 V-0, but also shows excellent arc trail resistance, its comparative arc trail index (CTI) is 500~600V, performance grade category is 0~1, which helps to reduce the surface discharge path and fire caused by long-term deterioration, and can be used for high-voltage peripheral equipment
such as terminal boards and junction boxes.
